Focus T25 Day 2 Alpha Speed 1.0

t25-alpha-speed-1.0I was really excited to see what Shaun T had in store for me on day 2 of T25. Yes, you read that right, I was actually looking forward to my workout tonight. According to Shaun Speed 1.0 is a “. . . fast-paced cardio workout that improves speed and focuses on stretching, stability and sweat.”

For me, this workout was nowhere near as intense/difficult as yesterday’s cardio. I was pretty much able to keep up and didn’t need to modify at all until the burnout.   This is probably because the stretches in this workout are effectively breaks from the cardio segments – in the actual cardio workout there are no “breaks” it is non-stop from start to finish.

I really enjoyed this workout but with the lower intensity I can see why it is only included on the schedule once a week and isn’t even on the schedule for week 5.
