Losing the Baby Weight Week 1 Results

Alright, we have officially hit the one year mark post-baby and we are at the end of our breastfeeding journey so you know what that means right?  Yes, it is time to get serious about losing the last of this baby weight!  For my #1 2017 resolution I committed to getting down to 111 lbs before our June vacation to Hilton Head. Which means there is going to be a whole lot of working out going on in the next 6 months.

If you’ve been with me for awhile, you may remember that last time around, I went the T25 route.  It was a great workout but it was really tough on my knees AND it bulked up my calves so I wanted to do something different this time.  I really want to build long, lean muscles, no bulk, so I thought the Ballet Beautiful and Tracy Anderson workouts would be perfect for me.  Both are SO FREAKING HARD but in different ways.  Seriously, I do think they compliment one another nicely.  I wouldn’t be able to do back-to-back days of either of these but alternating seems to work well.

Ballet Beautiful Total Body Workout (60 min)

Mon:

Ballet Beautiful Blast Full Body + Standing + Inner Thighs from the Total Body Workout (30 min)

Tue:

Ballet Beautiful Total Body Workout (60 min)

Wed:

Tracy Anderson Method Express Arms + Abs (20 min)

Thu:

Rest Day

Fri:

Ballet Beautiful Total Body Workout (60 min)

Sat:

Tracy Anderson Precision Toning (60 min)

Total Ballet Beautiful 3.5 hours   Total Tracy Anderson 1.33 hours  Grand Total 4.83 hours

Thoughts:

Wow! I am so proud of myself for getting in a workout 6 out of 7 days this week!  I didn’t realize I was that consistent until I was filling in my weekly schedule for this post.  Right now I am able to complete somewhere between 60-75% of the reps in the workouts, so there is definitely a lot of room for me to grow with these DVDs.  I am really happy with my week 1 results, I wasn’t expecting to have any reductions in my measurements (come on, it’s only been a week, right?) so that was a big bonus.  Of course, reductions this small aren’t yet visible in the photos, but it’s a start 🙂
