Losing the Baby Weight Week 12 Results

Happy Friday (or whatever day it happens to be when you are reading this). It is almost April and Spring is finally making it’s way to the Midwest.  The flowers have started to come out on our Bradford Pear trees and the sun has begun to make more frequent appearances which is so nice after the long gray winter we had.  I always feel so positive and hopeful at this time of year.  So much to look forward to with the coming warm weather, school breaks and vacation!

Week 12 was awesome because Tracy posted two different options for her Beginner Master Class.  One was 35 minutes and the other was 52 minutes. It was really nice to have an opportunity to do a longer muscular structure workout without the difficulty of doing the Master Class.  I was also so excited to try the new Dance Cardio option that was posted on 3/15 with Maria Kelling.  This one is so fun and starts off with one of my favorite songs “Somebody that I Used to Know” (if you know what version it is PLEASE leave me a comment, I have Shazam’ed it, listened to every song on iTunes and even asked the incredible @bridgetteralphtam for help but we have been unable to find it).  Which reminds me, that I want to mention again that my Nike Zoom All Outs are working out amazingly well for Dance Cardio.  I have no knee or shin pain with them at all.  If you are looking for shoes that are good for Dance Cardio, I definitely recommend you check them out!

BMC 3/15 (52 min)

Mon:

Rest Day BMC 3/15 (52 min)

Tue:

BMC 3/15 (30 min)  + TAVA 10/5 (20 min)

Wed:

Rest Day (Didn’t feel well, so I switched up my rest days.  Listen to your body!)

Thu:

MC 3/23 (62 min)

Fri:

BMC 3/23 (35 min) + DC 3/15 (25 Min)

Sat:

BMC 3/23 (35 min) + DC 3/15 (25 Min)

Total Dance Cardio 1 hours 10 minutes Total Muscular Structure 4 hours 26 minutes Grand Total 5 hours 36 minutes

Sometimes I just don’t get my results at all.  How can I be down in weight and not my measurements?  The only thing I can think of is maybe I am retaining water… so bizarre.  In any event, I am SO HAPPY to be more than half way to my goal already!!

Every time I post on Instagram wearing this leotard, I get a ton of compliments.  It is one of my favorites, made by Capezio and I found it on Amazon.  Like most leotards it runs small so  I am wearing size Medium. I also FINALLY found a good Nude leotard that isn’t completely see through after several failed attempts (thank you Amazon for making returns so easy!!)  also got that one in a size Medium.  Where do you get your workout gear and what is your favorite thing to workout in?  I am looking for some good tanks, please let me know if you have suggestions 🙂
